Bionca Ellis, a woman who brutally stabbed a three-year-old toddler and her mother in Ohio, killing the baby, was seen smiling in court as her charges were read out.
On June 3, Bionca Ellis was inside the the Giant Eagle supermarket when she saw Margot Wood and her son Julian Wood, near the exit and followed them into the parking lot where she attacked them with a knife, stabbing the boy twice while her mother was loading groceries into the car, before stabbing the mother herself, then walking away.
The mother survived the stabbing attack but her toddler son died from his injuries in the hospital.

Investigation into the incident was launched though no motivation has been gotten for the attack which took about 5 seconds.
During the initial court hearing, Ellis’s bail was increased to $ 5 million due to the death of the victim.
