Childish Gambino: Rapper Announces North American Tour After New Album

Childish Gambino, alias Donald Glover is going back on tour after dropping his new album and teasing retirement for years.

The musician who is also a writer, actor, director, and producer surprised fans with the late-night release of “Atavista,” a reworked version of his 2020 project “3.15.20.”

The album drop was accompanied by news of an upcoming tour. “The New World Tour,” which starts in August, will include performances in North America, Europe, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand, according to Glover’s social media post.

The last time Childish Gambino went on tour, he had just dropped the internet-breaking single “This Is America” and his Summer Pack EP, off the back of his 2016 album, “Awaken, My Love!” That year, he headlined Coachella and dropped Guava Island, his movie with Rihanna.
