A photo making rounds alleges a man on the ground being tortured with electric shocks is one of the captured terrorists who attacked a concert hall in Russia.
The suspected attacker was pictured partly naked with an electric cable seemingly connected to his manhood. His hands were cuffed behind his back and another man’s foot standing on his legs.
At least 133 people were killed and another 145 injured after camouflaged gunmen attacked a concert venue on the outskirts of Moscow on Friday.
The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said eleven people were arrested, including four who were directly involved in the attack.
The United States through its National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson had warned Russia earlier this month about a planned terror attack in Moscow.
The US also said that an affiliate of the Islamic State (ISIS) was responsible for the attack. The terror group known as Islamic State Khorasan Province, or ISIS-K, based in eastern Afghanistan, also claimed responsibility for the attack on its Telegram channel late Friday.
However, Putin said Ukrainian authorities were responsible and tried to aid the four terrorists escape across their border.
The Ukraine side denied the accusation and said Russia was only seeking a provocation and trying to gain support for further assault in their ongoing war.
According to Russian investigators, the foreign terrorists were arrested in the western Bryansk region, near the Ukrainian border.
The terrorists attacked the Crocus City Hall, a large shopping and entertainment center on the western outskirts of Moscow, where concertgoers had gathered to watch the veteran Russian rock band Piknik, shooting at people as they ran to the emergency exits.
Subsequently, the attackers doused the concert hall’s seating and curtains with an inflammable liquid before setting them on fire.
