Drake Bell, a former Nickelodeon star, will be featured in the upcoming Investigation Discovery series “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,” where he will reveal allegations of sexual abuse by Brian Peck, who worked as a dialogue coach on Nickelodeon’s “All That” and “The Amanda Show.” Peck’s association with Bell spans from 1999 to 2002, during which Bell starred in “The Amanda Show” before headlining his own series, “Drake & Josh,” in 2004.

In August 2003, Peck was arrested on multiple charges related to sexual abuse allegations involving a minor. By May 2004, he pleaded no contest to charges of performing a lewd act with a 14- or 15-year-old and oral copulation with a minor under 16. Although the identities of the victims remain undisclosed, Bell is anticipated to disclose more details about his experience during the airing of “Quiet on Set” later this month. Peck was sentenced to 16 months in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender in October 2004.

A teaser clip from “Quiet on Set” previews Bell’s revelation regarding Peck. A statement from Investigation Discovery highlights Bell’s public disclosure for the first time, detailing the abuse he endured from Peck, who was convicted in 2004 and subsequently registered as a sex offender.

Peck recently resurfaced in discussions following an episode of the “Pod Meets World” podcast, where “Boys Meets World” cast members Rider Strong and Will Friedle reminisced about their interactions with him during the show. Initially approached for statements for the docuseries, Strong and Friedle opted to address their experiences with Peck on their podcast instead.

During Season 5 of “Boy Meets World,” Peck guest starred and developed close relationships with Strong and Friedle. When allegations of sexual abuse arose in 2003, Peck reportedly contacted Friedle, portraying himself as the victim rather than the perpetrator. Friedle admitted to initially believing Peck’s narrative, reflecting on the shock and subsequent realization of the truth.

Peck sought support from Strong and Friedle during legal proceedings, which they reluctantly provided. Friedle recounted the distressing courtroom experience, where they found themselves on the opposing side, facing the victim’s mother’s condemnation.

“Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV” is a four-part docuseries uncovering the adverse work environments prevalent in children’s shows during the 1990s and early 2000s, particularly those associated with Dan Schneider, the creator of popular Nickelodeon productions like “iCarly” and “Zoey 101.” The series is scheduled to air on March 17 and 18 on Investigation Discovery.
