Aroldis Chapman, World Series champion and star pitcher found himself at the center of a heavy social media storm following a glaringly bizarre video he posted on Instagram.

In the footage, Chapman is seen grabbing the chest of an older woman sitting next to him. The woman tried to stop his ‘groping’ but couldn’t as he kept grinning and moving from one b**b to the other. Their relationship is still unclear but some speculate that she could be his mother.

The All-Star athlete tried to erase the post completely from the net, however, some people who were fast enough to obtain the video shared it on other platforms like X, formerly known as Twitter.

The clip has quickly become a trending topic, as people try to make sense of the pitcher’s actions.

Aroldis Chapman, a seven-time All-Star and two-time World Series champion, has an impressive track record with a 2.53 ERA, 1,148 strikeouts, and 321 saves. Nevertheless, the man is no stranger to controversy.

In 2015, he was suspended by Major League Baseball (MLB) for a domestic violence incident involving his girlfriend, Cristina Barnea. He was accused of choking her and firing up to 8 shots from a firearm during one of their arguments. However, the Pittsburgh Pirates star didn’t face conviction but had all charges dropped due to inconsistent evidence and more.
