The Book of Clarence, a movie about a black Jesus, co-produced by Jay-Z has gotten many Christians calling it one of the most blasphemous films in religion.
In this movie, a man named Clarence, acted by Lakeith Stanfield fools people into believing he is Jesus by performing tricks.
Another man who portrays Jesus, and acted by Nicholas Pinnock, then allows the people to believe Clarence is the Christ. He watches and allows him to carry the cross and be crucified in Christ’s place.
Another man, Benedict Cumberbatch, was crucified for claiming to be a false Christ.
At the end of the Book of Clarence movie, Jesus enters Clarence’s tomb and resurrects him.
The movie was deemed disrespectful to Christians as it claimed Jesus Christ did not come down from heaven to die for the redemption of mankind, but rather had someone do the suffering.
