A tumultuous clash among teenagers sparked chaos at Bayside Marketplace in downtown Miami on Monday night. However, social media users suggest that the aftermath was more than just a typical brawl—extraterrestrial encounters.

As the altercation attracted a significant police presence, rumors quickly circulated on Twitter and other platforms hinting that law enforcement wasn’t managing rowdy teens but rather confronting “8-10ft tall shadow aliens.”

Amateur footage online captures moments when a sizable “creature” looms near the mall entrance, fueling speculations among online conspiracy enthusiasts about the events of that Monday night.

Predictably, memes flooded in response to the bizarre situation.

Officer Michael Vega clarified the situation surrounding the clash involving 50 juveniles, asserting, “There were no aliens, UFOs, or ETs. No airport closures, no power outages,” accompanied by a face-palm emoji.

By Friday, “Miami Mall” and “Aliens in Miami” became top searches on Twitter‘s Trending tab, with Google News aggregating various news outlets exploring the intriguing tale.

The topics of aliens and UFOs have frequently made headlines over the decades, gaining renewed attention, especially in the past year.

In July 2023, a former military officer turned whistleblower informed House lawmakers about Congress being kept in the dark regarding unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs, the new term for UFOs). In the same hearing, a former U.S. Navy pilot and a Harvard professor echoed similar claims.
