Here is a video compilation of all the times Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green played heightened aggression, blatantly fouled, or fought during games.
The 33-year-old forward was suspended indefinitely by the NBA on Wednesday after he hit Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the face the day before.
Green described the flagrant second foul and third ejection this season as accidental, attributing it to “bad luck” while attempting to “sell” the foul he believed Nurkic committed. However, despite Nurkic being face down on the court, Green displayed no apparent remorse.
Draymond Green was handed a five-game suspension the previous month for grabbing Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert by the neck.
Nurkic received a half-hearted apology from Green after the game, which was more than what was offered to Gobert or Sacramento Kings forward Domantas Sabonis during the playoffs when Green stomped on Sabonis’ chest. The Warriors have established a routine of apologies for Green’s behavior, involving Coach Steve Kerr, former general manager Bob Myers, and the public relations staff.
