Simone Biles rejoices in her husband Jonathan Owens’ recent triumph, marking the beginning of a new week!
The 26-year-old Olympic athlete attended the Green Bay Packers‘ recent victory, where the Wisconsin NFL team conquered the Kansas City Chiefs 27-19 on Sunday.
Biles posted a series of photos on Instagram, showcasing her hand in hand with the Packers’ safety, 28. Dressed in Green Bay Packers gear, they strolled together, and Biles captioned the post, “Walking into Monday victorious ??.”
The couple beamed with joy as they walked together after the Packers’ win, improving their record to 6-6 this season.
On Instagram Stories, Biles shared posts celebrating the Sunday night victory. In a short clip, the seven-time Olympic medalist was on the sidelines as Owens approached for a brief good-luck kiss before returning to the field.
She also provided a glimpse of her celebration and a video toasting the team’s success with a cocktail. Her Instagram Story slide read, “To a Packers win babyyyyy.”
Later, Biles shared clips of Lambeau Field and the home team’s firework display around the stadium.
Biles and Owens legally married at a courthouse in April, followed by an elaborate ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Since Owens joined the Packers in May, their relationship has been long-distance, with Biles attending several of his games. In an October interview on the Today show, she expressed her enjoyment of watching her husband from the sidelines.
“It’s been really fun supporting what he loves to do,” she added. “Obviously, he’s in Green Bay right now so my season just ended. I’m super excited to get out there to Green Bay for the holidays to support him.”
She also reflected on how her perspective on gymnastics has evolved since their marriage.
“Gymnastics is just something I get to come in and have the privilege of doing. I don’t feel like it’s the end all be all anymore, as before I kind of felt like that,” she explained at the time. “I get to go home to my husband, to my dogs, to my house and all of the things. So it feels really good.”
