Following his conviction for raping two women, Danny Masterson has been transferred to North Kern State Prison, with his mugshot, featuring him in an orange jumpsuit, released. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation confirmed his admission on Wednesday, undergoing the classification and reception process.

Initially sentenced to 30 years to life in prison in September, Masterson had been held at the Los Angeles County jail due to concerns about him being a potential flight risk. The That ’70s Show actor faced two rape convictions from 2020 charges related to incidents between 2001 and 2003. A mistrial occurred in late 2022, leading to a retrial and subsequent conviction in May.

Upon sentencing, Masterson’s defense expressed intentions to appeal the verdict. Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón emphasized the importance of justice and thanked the trial team, vowing to prevent Hollywood elites from victimizing women in Los Angeles.

Simultaneously, Masterson’s former wife, Bijou Phillips, filed for divorce in the same month, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The divorce came as a surprise to Phillips, who was unprepared for the guilty verdict, according to a source. A month later, Masterson granted full legal and physical custody of their daughter Fianna to Phillips, while seeking visitation rights.
