Studs And Duds From Bears’ Rough Defeat Against Saints In Week 9

The Chicago Bears’ losing streak against the New Orleans Saints now stands at eight games after their 24-17 victory on Sunday.

In the first half, the Bears’ offense got off to a strong start with touchdowns on two of their first three possessions. However, Tyson Bagent, the rookie quarterback, was responsible for four of Chicago’s five turnovers on the day—three interceptions and one fumble—proving to be the team’s undoing.

Given that the Saints played the entire fourth quarter in Bears territory, Chicago’s defense performed admirably most of the time, providing the offense with chances to rally. But errors still bring them doom.

Kmet was a major factor in the offense’s early success, serving as rookie Tyson Bagent’s safety net. Kmet had two touchdowns and six receptions for 55 yards, including a stunning 18-yard touchdown catch on the first series.

The first half shows that Bagent is still at the top of his game when he’s managing the game. However, he began making some reckless decisions with the football when he had to open things up, which resulted in three interceptions and one fumble. It turned out to be the difference in a game of one possession.
