Slipknot Drummer, Jay Weinberg Leaves Band

Heavy metal band Slipknot drummer, Jay Weinberg has left the band. The group posted a statement saying that it was a “creative decision” for him to leave.

Wienberg joined the band in 2014 after the departure of original drummer and #1 member Joey Jordison.

The band, which had nine members, has changed line-ups some times since it was founded, including keyboardist Craig Jones earlier this year.

They blew out in 1995 when the United States was still in an aggressive frenzy, and they took over.

They released their debut album in 1999 and went on to sell millions of copies. They also won a Grammy award.

According to Spotify, Slipknot gets 12 million monthly listeners, with their most-streamed track having nearly 600 million plays.

“He is by far one of the greatest drummers to still be performing, his adaptability is perfect,” the 21-year-old fan from Manchester reacted to the news.

The band has nine members and they have changed group members multiple times, with some changes speculative not mutual.

Harvey, Slipknot frontline is worried that the fans are starting to lose faith in the band since it seems like there is no structure.

But he is ever inspired by Slipknot’s willpower and image that goes beyond music – reaching costumes, masks, and set design.

“I think that’s what really does it for me as a Slipknot fan, it’s more than just the music, it’s a lifestyle,” he says.
