Jacksonville defeated the Atlanta Falcons 23-7 in London on Sunday thanks to defensive back Darius Williams’ 61-yard pick-six touchdown and a 30-yard touchdown pass from Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence to Calvin Ridley in the first quarter.
The Jaguars, who will remain in London and host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday at Tottenham Stadium, won thanks to three field goals from Brandon McManus.
“We’re going to have a day or so to explore this week. It’ll be fun to get out in the city, and get prepared for Buffalo,” Lawrence said postgame after the Jaguars improved to 2-2.
Bijan Robinson, a rookie running back for the Falcons, had the most total yards of any player with 137, but the Jaguars forced two interceptions out of Desmond Ridder, the team’s first-year starter, in the second quarter on consecutive plays. Next Sunday, the Falcons (2-2) will host the Houston Texans.
