Air Force Football Come From Behind To Beat Wyoming With A 14-Point Deficit

The Air Force Football came down from an early 14-0 deficit to beat Wyoming Football on Saturday night for the first time since 2002.

Aside from the deficit, they also lost their quarterback Zac Larrier in the fourth quarter but they still prevailed.

The Falcons have now won 11 games in a row dating back to last season.

The first half had beautiful touchdowns from both teams, but Wyoming was leading 21-17.

The Falcons began the third quarter with a 17-play touchdown drive that went 75 yards in 10:13 to take the lead.

In the fourth quarter, Falcons’ quarterback Zac Larrier exited the game with a leg injury and was replaced by Jensen Jones. Wyoming used that to their advantage.

On Air Force’s next possession, Jones and Emmanuel Michel mishandled a handoff and groped, which Wyoming recovered at the opposing 25-yard line.

The Falcons got back in the game with a 52-yard touchdown run by senior running back John Lee Eldridge on only his third carry of the game.

Troy Calhoun’s team has now reached bowl eligibility four of the last five years and three years consecutively.

They will travel to Annapolis to face the Navy in the first Commander-In-Chief’s Trophy matchup of the season.
