Packers Lose TE Luke Musgrave To Concussion Against Lions

luke-musgrave

Due to a verified concussion, Green Bay Packers rookie tight end Luke Musgrave was unable to play against the Detroit Lions on Thursday night.

Before leaving the game, Musgrave, a second-round pick by the Packers, caught one ball for one yard. In the first half, he was checked for a concussion, and in the third quarter, he was declared out.

On the Packers’ opening drive of the second half, without Musgrave on the field, third-round pick Tucker Kraft made his first NFL grab and gained six yards.

Musgrave will be placed in the league’s concussion protocol and must successfully complete it before being allowed to return to play. A demanding week of recuperation coming up will help his cause. The next game for the Packers is on Monday night.
