Bonmati, Earps, Paralluelo, Big Winners As FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 Comes To An End

Bonmati, Earps, and Paralluelo were big winners as the FIFA Women’s World Cup came to a close. 

In the finals, Olga Carmona’s goal made all the difference as Spain beat England to clinch the title for the first time in their history. 

After helping to deliver Liga F and Champions League glory at club level in 2022-23, Bonmati has now gone on to inspire a World Cup triumph. She clinched the Golden Ball title in that regard. 

Bonmati starred for Spain throughout and scored three goals throughout the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. 

During their 1-0 defeat to Spain in the Women’s World Cup final, but Manchester United goalkeeper Mary Earps saved a penalty to keep them in the contest. 

She won the Golden Glove on the back of keeping three clean sheets in the tournament and putting up a superb display in the final. 

Salma Parallueko was recognised as the hottest potential at the Women’s World Cup, as she took the Best Young Player award, with critical late goals being recorded in quarter-final and semi-final clashes with the Netherlands and Sweden. 

Hinata Miyazawa was the star of the show for the Asian heavyweights as she netted five times in total. She landed the Golden Boot of the tournament.
