Bayern has beaten French giants Monaco in their final pre-season friendly at Spotpark.
It’s the last game of preseason for Thomas Tuchel’s side before kicking off the 2023/24 campaign. Bayern hosted RB Leipzig at the Allianz Arena in the DFL Supercup on 12 August (20:45), five days after taking on the Monegasques.
In the 29th minute, Takumi Minamino scored for Monaco, opening the scoring for the match. But shortly after, Bayern’s newcomer Conrad Laimer leveled the score.
Three minutes before halftime, Jamal Musiala put Bayern ahead. Towards the end of the first half, Serge Gnabry scored the third goal from a penalty kick.
Monaco captain Wissam Ben Yedder got one back in the 64th minute, successfully converting a penalty to reduce the deficit.
Four minutes later, Leroy Sane sealed the deal for the German giants.
