Bayer and Tottenham had an impromptu meeting behind closed doors over striker Harry Kane‘s future.
Kane has only one year left on his current Spurs contract and he wants to move after he finishes. So, he needs to secure a move before the Premier League campaign kicks off this weekend.
Bayern’s third bid is believed to be around £86m and was submitted last weekend. They have been making an effort to sign him above any other offer.
Negotiations between key figures at both clubs late on Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning would suggest the prospect of a deal is still a possibility.
Tottenham has slapped a price range of over £100m for the striker, and they seem to want nothing below their price range.
If both clubs don’t agree, Bayern may likely make another offer of £95m or £98m for the player, as they are keen on signing him before the week runs out.
In other news, Munich have opened talks to sign Chelsea goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga for their manager, Thomas Tuchel. This move is imminent since Bayern Munich’s first-choice goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer is still not close to returning after breaking his leg during a trip last December.
