Smallville Actor Allison Mack Released From Prison After Luring Women Into Sex-Trafficking NXIVM Cult

Allison Mack has been released from a California prison after serving time for her role in luring women into a sex-trafficking ring called NXIVM to become sex slaves.

The actress known for her role as a young Superman’s close friend in the movie “Smallville,” was sentenced to three years in jail in 2021. She had pleaded guilty two years earlier to charges that she manipulated women into becoming sex slaves for NXIVM leader Keith Raniere.

The 40-year-old was released on Monday from a federal prison in Dublin, California, near San Francisco, according to online records by the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Allison Mack was able to get a short prison sentence by cooperating with federal authorities in their case against Raniere, who was ultimately sentenced to 120 years in prison after being convicted on sex-trafficking charges.

She was also required to do 1,000 hours of community service as part of her sentence.

During the investigation into Keith Raniere, Mack helped prosecutors get evidence that detailed how Raniere created the NXIVM secret society that had brainwashed women who were branded with his initials and forced to have sex with him.

Mack allegedly recruited women to a secretive smaller group known as DOS or “The Vow.” where she was known as the “master” and was second in command to Raniere – the only male in the group. The group was said to be focused on women’s empowerment and mentorship.

According to court filings, DOS members were required to be filmed naked during the branding. Prosecutors also alleged members were forced “to perform labor, take nude photographs and in some cases, engage in sexual acts with Raniere.”

Other members of the group included an heiress to the Seagram’s liquor fortune, Clare Bronfman; and a daughter of TV star Catherine Oxenberg of “Dynasty” fame.
