During his welcome in Al-Nassr FC, Cristiano Ronaldo forgot the name of his new club’s host country, mistakenly saying South Africa, instead of Saudi Arabia.
Though such a blunder could be forgivable, given the popularity of the club, however, the huge paycheck the former Manchester United player demands from Al-Nassr makes the mistake much more weighty.
Imagine paying someone $75 million dollars per year and he doesn’t even know or remember your name…that’s exactly how the management of Al-Nassr and the Saudis will probably be feeling.
The matter gets even funnier after he remembers and reels out the names of countries he rejected offers from; Europe, Brazil, Australia, and the United States; only to go to a country he doesn’t even remember their name!
