Fortunately, a courageous neighbor who braves the balcony’s edge and pushes the youngster back through the fence prevents the child from falling.
The heroic next-door neighbor makes his way back to his flat after saving the baby’s life.
According to People’s Daily, the incident happened on September 25 in Foshan, Guangdong province.
On Weibo, a hashtag associated with the incident has received over 50 million views.
On the network, there are a lot of official accounts that have provided advice on how to keep young children safe in various settings.
With 2.7 million followers, the Hunan Fire Service posted the relevant hashtag and gave advice on how to keep kids safe when playing with toys, on balconies, in the kitchen, etc.
