The race for the 2022/2023 Premier League Golden Boot is on, as the season has seen some outstanding match plays and some beautiful goals.
Erling Haaland and Darwin Nunez, fresh from moves to Manchester City and Liverpool respectively, are among those to have added their particular skill sets to a collection of world-class forwards that already includes the likes of Tottenham striker Harry Kane and Anfield talisman Mohamed Salah.
Erling Haaland
Haaland is currently topping the list of Premier League players with the most goals. He has scored a ridiculous 15 goals from nine matches in the Premier League and would score more. He does not also have a hard time scoring hat tricks and he may be the current favorite for the Golden Boot.
Harry Kane
Harry Kane is no stranger to the Golden Boot, as he already has three to his name. The Englishman has scored 8 goals for Tottenham from all Premier League games this season and would be hoping to score more.
Alexsander Mitrovic
Fulham No.9 Aleksandar Mitrovic re-wrote Football League history books last season when hitting 43 goals for his club. The incredible striker has scored six goals for his club this season and Fulham seems to be fitting well in the Premier League.
Phil Foden
Foden and Haaland have been the most dangerous combination in the Premier League this season. Fodrn bagged a hat trick against Manchester United last weekend and currently has six goals to his credit this season for Manchester City.
Ivan Toney
Toney has tried to score goals this season, although Brentford is not doing so well at the moment. Having hit 33 goals when helping Brentford to promotion into the Premier League, Ivan Toney backed that return up with 14 efforts last season
Many other strikers like Brighton’s Leandro Trossard, Wilfred Zaha of Crystal Palace, Gabriel Jesus for Arsenal, Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford, and Taiwo Awoniyi of Nottingham Forest have also gotten their names on the scoresheet multiple times this season.
