As the world comes together to celebrate Drake clocking 36 years of age, his son, Adonis also sang a happy birthday song for his father, along with his mother, Sophie Brussaux.
Sophie shared the video, as Adonis sang his song adorable in the car, while they were on their way out.
Drake reposted the clip on his Instagram stories to show how much love he received for his day.
Sophie Brussaux also wished the Canadian rapper a Happy Birthday after Adonis finished singing.
Singing in the Happy Birthday tune, Adonis formed his lyrics, saying:
‘Happy birthday daddy, happy birthday daddy, but in my heart, in my heart, I’m gonna grow up.’
The father and son share a birthday month, as Drake and Brussaux welcomed the child on October 11, 2017.
But Adonis’s date comes before Drake’s, as Sophie took to her Instagram to wish her son a happy birthday earlier this month. She wrote:
‘I’m so proud of the beautiful human you are growing up to be. We’ve done a great job @champagnepapi.’
Although Drake does not often talk about his son, he does well when he wants to talk about him. He also sang about Adonis in his song, Champagne poetry.
‘I been hot since the birth of my son’ and ‘Co-parent of the year/ We figured out a rapport.’
The song Papi’s Home features the lyrics, ‘See your mother raised a fine young man/ Daddy’s home/ And I know I missed so much of your life.’
At the Billboard Music Awards in Los Angeles in May of 2021, Drake was named Artist of the Decade and brought Adonis onstage with him to accept the honors.
