Sources Confirm Rapper PnB Rock Fatally Shot At Roscoe’s Chicken ‘N Waffles In Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Times reported that rapper PnB Rock was fatally shot during a robbery in Los Angeles on Monday.

At 1:15 p.m., police were called to Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles on West Manchester Avenue about a possible robbery. When they arrived, they discovered a victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, Los Angeles Police Department Captain Kelly Muniz said at a press conference.

According to law enforcement sources, PnB Rock is the victim, according to The Los Angeles Times. The victim has not yet been identified by LAPD.

While the victim and a female witness were eating during the incident, at least one suspect approached them and demanded “property,” according to Muniz. She was unable to specify the kind of collateral the suspect requested.

After exchanging words with the victim, the suspect shot the latter several times before driving off in a getaway car in an unknown direction, according to Muniz.
According to Muniz, the victim was taken to a nearby hospital where she passed away at 1:59 p.m. Nobody is in custody, according to her, and not much is known about the suspect at this time.

Between 2017 and 2019, PnB Rock released two albums, “Catch These Vibes” and “TrapStar Turnt PopStar,” which made waves at the end of the 2010s. Between 2016 and 2019, PnB Rock had eight songs on the Billboard Hot 100, four of which were in 2019.

The rapper from Philadelphia has appeared in popular songs like “Everyday We Lit” (2017, with rapper YFN Lucci) and “Dangerous” (2018, with rapper Meek Mill and singer Jeremih). On the Billboard Hot 100, “Dangerous” peaked at No. 31, and “Everyday We Lit” peaked at No. 33.

He also worked on “Leave Em Alone” with rappers Lil Baby and the City Girls in 2019, as well as “Cross Me” with Chance the Rapper and Ed Sheeran.

On September 2, “Luv Me Again,” his most recent song, was made available.
