Although Dak Prescott’s ankle problem limited him in practice on Thursday, it doesn’t appear that it will prevent him from playing this week.
Prescott will practice in full on Friday, according to Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy, and shouldn’t be affected by the situation.
“He’s going to be a full participant today,” McCarthy said, via Michael Gehlken. “I anticipate he’ll be the same tomorrow, so I don’t have any concern.”
Prescott experienced discomfort in his right ankle on Thursday as a result of a new pair of cleats. Prescott underwent surgery to repair that ankle in 2020.
Prescott clarified that this is nothing to be concerned about following practice.
“Just being very, very precautious,” he said, “Switched shoes today, probably wasn’t the best idea. We’re good to go. Promise that.”
