There were indications during the past week that wide receiver Michael Gallup might be back in the Cowboys’ starting lineup for Monday night’s game against the Giants, but it now appears that won’t be the case.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, Gallup is anticipated to sit out for a third straight game. Gallup, who is recovering from an ACL tear, participated fully in practice all week before being given a dubious assignment for the NFC East matchup.
CeeDee Lamb, Noah Brown, Simi Fehoko, Jalen Tolbert, and KaVontae Turpin will be the available wideouts if Gallup doesn’t return.
Micah Parsons, a linebacker, is anticipated to play, according to Pelissero. He was sick for two practice days, but he was back on Saturday. Dalton Schultz, a tight end, will likely test his knee in the pregame to determine if he can play.
