Actor John Travolta has posted a statement in memory of the late singer Olivia Newton-John. The two co-starred in the popular movie musical “Grease.”
When they played the roles of sweet-natured Sandy and naughty Danny in the 1978 musical film “Grease,” John Newton-John and John Travolta became internationally famous.
The two actors recently reenacted their roles for one special night in West Palm Beach, Florida when they went to the Coral Sky Amphitheatre for a sing-along of the movie and a Q&A session.
Newton-John donned her distinctive yellow cardigan and skirt with a matching white button-up. Travolta had his hair pulled back and wore a traditional leather jacket.
Since they initially made the movie more than 40 years ago, it was the first time the two had worn costumes, Newton-John recalled at the time on Instagram.
