A basketball player and student of Houston Baptist University identified as Darius Lee has reportedly died after a shooting scenario broke out at a gathering in Harlem, New York City.
The death of Lee who was supposed to graduate by December was disclosed through a statement released by his head coach identified Ron Cottrell that reads;
“We are devastated. Darius was a remarkable young man who loved the Lord, his mom, his family, his teammates, his friends and his entire HBU family. We are in shock and cannot wrap our heads around this news. My heart breaks for his mom, his sister and his entire family, and for our basketball team,”
