Lauren Riihimaki, also known as LaurDIY, is a 27-year-old DIY and lifestyle content creator, Wild ‘Til 9 podcaster, angel investor, and host/executive producer of her Daytime Emmy-nominated HBO Max series Craftopia.

Lauren has been growing her internet brand for over 9 years, branching out into accessories, stationery, jewellery, and craft kits in major retailers such as Target and Walmart. 

Lauren has recently established herself as an angel investor in rapidly growing tech start-ups and consumer packaged goods.

In her first year of university in Toronto, Riihimaki began posting DIY tutorial videos on her site. 

She first signed up for YouTube on December 1, 2011, intending to upload sewing videos. She has since expanded her range of content.
