Benjamin Flores Jr.: Acting Career

Benjamin Flores Jr. is a master of horrified expressions. Since his first appearance on Nickelodeon’s eerie sitcom The Haunted Hathaways eight years ago, he has kept the enlarged eyes, slack mouth, and furrowed brows as his signature acting weapon.

With a starring role in Netflix’s adaptation of R. L. Stine’s book series, Fear Street, Flores has progressed from kid-friendly scares to slasher films.

Flores starred in an episode of the TBS sitcom Are We There Yet? and in the animated film Happy Feet 2 as Atticus the rapping penguin in 2011. 

He made a cameo appearance in Yo Gotti’s “Look In The Mirror” music video. Flores starred in the 2014 film Ride Along.

Flores was cast as Louie, a child ghost who lives in the same house as a living family called the Hathaways, in the Nickelodeon television series The Haunted Hathaways in 2013. 

The show lasted two seasons before being cancelled in 2015. For his part on The Haunted Hathaways, he was nominated for the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in 2014 and 2015.

Flores was cast as Triple G, the son of famed rapper Double G, in Dan Schneider’s new TV show Game Shakers on July 7, 2015. (Kel Mitchell). In November 2016, the show was given a third season.

Benjamin Flores jr was cast as Gerald Johanssen’s new voice in the television film Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie on June 13, 2016. He starred in the Transformers: The Last Knight fantasy action film in 2017. 

Flores was cast in the Netflix film Rim of the World in 2018, which came out in May 2019.

He played Josh in The Fear Street Trilogy, which began with Fear Street Part One: 1994 and was released on Netflix in 2021. He also starred as Eugene Jones in the Showtime television series Your Honor from 2020 to 2021.
