Reports have it that President Buhari has made it known that he does not have a preferred candidate to represent the party in the 2023 general elections.
It was accounted that the president made it known when the Northern governors in Abuja where he also told them to “allow the delegates to decide. The Party must participate, nobody will appoint anybody.”
Buhari also stated that he did not appoint anyone and he will make sure “there shall be no imposition of any candidate on the party.”
