How Man Sold Wife Into Prostitution For 1.4m In Mali, 2 Year Old Son For 600k

Reports have it that the Ogun state police command has nabbed a 36-year-old man identified as Kingsley Essien for allegedly selling his wife and his two-year-old son for two million naira.

It was accounted that the suspect trafficked his wife to Mali for prostitution at the rate of #1.4 million naira while he sold his son at the rate of 600,000 thousand naira.

The incident was confirmed by the Ogun State police spokesman identified as Abimbola Oyeyemi who stated that the wife of Kingsley has earlier reported him after he told her that he secured a well-paying job on her behalf and without doubting him she left for Mali where she discovered she has been sold to a human trafficking syndicate.

Abimbola added that the the woman found her way to the Nigerian embassy in the country and she was assisted back to Nigeria in discovering that she couldn’t find their son and she has to report the case to the police.

Following the suspect’s (Kingsley) arrest, the Ogun State Commissioner of Police identified as Lanre Bankole directed that the man should be moved to the Anti-human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the state CIID for further investigation.
