A high court sitting in Abuja presided by a judge identified as Justice Binta Nyako has refused to grant the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) a bail.

It was reported that the Judge ordered Mazi to give a detailed account of his whereabouts throughout the time he was granted bail at first before he was arrested again.

The court also opposed the defendant that he fled out of Nigeria when a cortege of the Nigerian army allegedly raided his traditional home in Abia State.
