Jigawa state government state has officially cut short the working hours of all civil servants in the state.
The development was made known through a statement signed by the Jigawa state head of the civil service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila which partly reads that “Civil Servants in the State are now to report to the office from 9 am and close by 3 pm while on Friday are to close by 1 pm.”
According to Alhaji Hussaini, the Muslim workers are to use the opportunity to prepare for their Ramadan break and to observe their spiritual exercises during the Holy Month.
