On the 8th of April in 2022, Osinachi Nwachukwu died at a private hospital in Abuja. She was said to have died due to domestic violence from her husband, Peter Nwachukwu. In April 2025, a Federal High Court in Abuja, under Justice Njideka Nwosu-Iheme, sentenced Peter Nwachukwu to death by hanging.
