The first female vice-chancellor in Nigeria, Professor Mrs. Grace Adele-Williams has died at the age of 89.

The official cause of Grace Adele-Williams’s death is yet to be made known as it was reported she died on Friday (Mar. 25, 2022).

It was accounted that the educationalist who was the first vice-chancellor of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) was also the first Nigerian to receive a doctorate.
