Reports have it that Nigerian track and field athlete, Blessing Okagbare has accepted the 10-year ban imposed on her for doping.
This is coming months after it was accounted that Blessing was banned for five years for the existence and usage of numerous forbidden substances and five years for her denial to collaborate with the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) inquiry into her case which summed up the ban to a total of ten years.
The development was made known through a statement released by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) communication officer, Katy Hogg who stated that the athlete who recently disclosed that her lawyers are looking into the case has failed to appeal her case.
