The Executive Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has officially declared his ambition to run for presidency under the People Democratic Party (PDP) in the year 2023.
Wike made his intention known when he paid the governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom a visit at the state government house on Saturday (Mar. 26, 2022).
The river state governor stated that he is the only candidate who can seize power from the All Progressive Congress (APC) by telling them “enough is enough”.
In his words, he said;
“To remove APC from power, I’m the person who can tell them enough is enough. We must take this power and I’m ready to take it for the PDP. God is with us that’s why APC keeps failing every day.
“I’m declaring it for the first time in Benue (State). I’m going to run for election,”
