The Lagos State Government is all out to go into the business of online-hailing taxi business as an additional fleet of new cars were recently seen on Eko bridge, probably en route Ikeja.
The LagosRide is also an initiative of the Sanwo-Olu administration to checkmate the issues of transportation within the state.
It will face the dominant online taxis; Uber and Bolt, so commuters might see better improvements and reduced prices as a result of the competition.
The following were curled from its website:
“LagosRide is a mobility solution that will allow users book and share the cost of a ride with similar transit patterns.
It will link users up based on their preferred pick up and drop off points, each not more than 1km apart respectively, and a pick-up time not more than 5mins apart”
