The Catholic Church has suspended the priest of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. James Anelu, for banning Igbo songs in his church.
It was reported that the priest made the declaration during a mass service at the church located at Enu-Owa Gberigbe in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
Rev. Fr. James angrily restricted Igbo songs in his church during a chorus procession when he noted that Igbos could not keep dominating other people even in his parish.
