Bob Saget: “he accidentally hit his head,” Late Comedian’s Family Says

Bob Saget, renowned stand-up comedian and TV host, died of head trauma after accidentally hitting his head on something, his family said in a statement on Wednesday.

The 65-year-old stand-up comedian and actor, popular for his role as Danny Tanner in Full House, was found unconscious on January 9, in a hotel room in a hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grand Lake.

The Orange County Sheriff’s office made it known that Bob Saget was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bob made a post on his Twitter page a few hours before his death, the tweet reads, “Loved tonight’s show @PV_ConcertHall in Jacksonville. Appreciative audience. Thanks again to @RealTimWilkins for opening. I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight. I’m happily addicted again to this shit. It was reported that the comedian was on a tour at the time, and had performed at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in Jacksonville, on January 8, 2022; a day before his death. This unfortunate event occurred a few weeks before Heather McDonald, another Comedian, slumped on stage and hit her head.

The statement released by the family says, “In the weeks since Bob’s passing, we have been overwhelmed with the incredible outpouring of love from Bob’s fans, which has been a great comfort to us and for which we are eternally grateful.”

“As we continue to mourn together, we ask everyone to remember the love and laughter that Bob brought to this world, and the lessons he taught us all: to be kind to everyone, to let the people you love know you love them, and to face difficult times with hugs and laughter,” the statement reads.

To commemorate one month of his passing, his widow, Kelly Rizzo, took to Instagram to post a clip of her and Bob Saget with the caption: one month without this incredible man. Bob truly lived life to the fullest. He had so many hardships over the years that he would always tell me, “look life is hard, we need to enjoy it as much as possible”… I can’t even put into words how much I miss him.
