A woman from Texas has been arrested, after trying to buy another woman’s child in a Walmart store. As we know, there is nothing new under the sun anymore. Weird and unspeakable things keep happening around us.
Rebecca Taylor allegedly started to make comments about another customer’s two children before asking if she could buy one of them for $250,000. She did all these while waiting in a checkout queue at Walmart.
According to local reports, Taylor increased her bid to $500,000 and threatened to take the infant when the woman declined her offer.
She was charged with the third-degree felony of the sale or purchase of a child and was reportedly released from bail last week.
