English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Manchester United, Mason Greenwood has been accused and arrested by the police over an alleged physical and sexual assault on his model girlfriend identified as Harriet Robson.
It was reported that Harriet Robson shared photos and videos of her body after the footballer allegedly assaulted and forcefully raped her which led to his arrest.
The arrest of Mason Greenwood who has also been suspended by his club has been confirmed through a statement officially released by the police that reads;
‘Greater Manchester Police was made aware earlier today (Sunday 30 January) of online social media images and videos posted by a woman reporting incidents of physical violence.
‘An investigation was launched and following enquiries we can confirm a man in his 20s has since been arrested on suspicion of rape and assault.
‘He remains in custody for questioning.
‘Enquiries are ongoing.
