Jos University Teaching Hospital - JUTH celebrates exit of former CMD Chief Medical Director  Professor Edmund Banwat whom they regard as heartless stone-cold tyrant elephant jubilates with music band sweeps office

The staff of Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) broke into joyful jubilations as their former Chief Medical Director (CMD), Professor Edmund Banwat left office after the end of his tenure.

“With Gratitude to God
the entire Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) community
celebrates the INGLORIOUS EXIT
of a HEARTLESS, STONE-COLD TYRANT (a.k.a Elephant)
Professor Edmund Banwat
(Professor of Microbiology)
former Chief Medical Director (CMD)
whose tyrannic reign of 8 years exterminates on 31/12/2021.”

The members of staff rejoiced with musical bands, trumpets, and various placards depicting their disgust for the hospital’s former head.

A list of the allegations and shortcomings levied on Professor Edmund Banwat during his eight years office as CMD of Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) are highlighted below:

  1. We are not the only Center that have not paid.
  2. None availability of consumables.
  3. None implementation of circulars.
  4. Highest number of cases in court.
  5. Lack of payptent of Workers’ salaries.
  6. Highest number of staff mortality.
  7. Highest number of referred patients due to strikes.
  8. Impunity.
  9. Backwardness.
  10. Excruciating pains meted on staff and their family members etc.

After the dancing and jubilation, the staff proceeded to sweep the dirt off his office to outside the hospital gate, in order to get rid of any trace of him.
