A man has created an online debate after he shared a video of himself helping a crippled old man who has fallen off his wheelchair along the sidewalks of the road.
According to the post, seemly originating from “Oden Gregory Mutschler,” he was going home after his night shift when he saw the man on the ground, off his wheelchair, and under a slight rain, and he wondered how long he has been there.
He then proceeded to help him back to his wheelchair while recording the entire act.
Many queried why he recorded the entire act, claiming there was no need to record an act of kindness.
Another sect opined he did the right thing by recording the act, so as to free himself from any injurious act that may befall the aged man either during the help or after. Who knows, the old man himself might even sue him if he falls or gets injured during the act.
Another group said recording the act was okay, to show and promote to other people that they can actually help those in need.
While a third sect also held that recording the act was okay but posting on social media was not.
