One of the top teams in college basketball, Arizona Offense gets their worst defeat of the season against UCLA. The Wildcats scored a season-low 59 points and only shot 31 percent from the field, including 25 percent from behind the arc and 55 percent at the free-throw line.
In the match, Kerr Kriisa went 0-12 from the field and had difficulty running the offense against UCLA’s pressure, which was definitely the worst run of his career.
“Kerr is a tough kid and he didn’t play well today,” Arizona head coach Tommy Lloyd said. “When you’re a good, aggressive player you are going to have nights like that.
“He wasn’t the only one, so we’re definitely not going to pin anything on him. He’s our guy and I know going forward he is going to deliver. I’m confident in that.”
“I’m not worried about Kerr Kriisa,” he said. “That’s the one guy I don’t worry about and I want him taking the same amount of shots next game. He is kind of our ride or die guy and this is going to be a great learning experience for him. We’re going to hang with him and he is going to help us out because of it.”
