As with the tradition, the Catholic Pope Francis has released his Christmas message for the season.
The papal head reminded Christians as well as others, not to forget what made initially made Christmas worthwhile; love for neighbor.
He further urged people to take care of the poor, needy and weak, especially those hit most by the Covid-19 epidemic.
He had previously urged Christians to imbibe humility and simplicity, taking note from the birth of Jesus Christ in a manger.
