Indian has reported a total of 358 cases of Omicron infection and according to their health ministry, a study of 183 cases revealed that 87 of them were fully vaccinated, and a further three have received booster shots.
India is currently one of the largest producers of Covid vaccines, with over 60% of its working-class population fully vaccinated.
According to the health secretary – Rajesh Bhushan, out of the 358 cases of Omicron in the country, 114 of the infected have fully recovered.
