The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has called off its threats of strike action by tertiary institutions. The strike was been proposed as a result of the federal government’s negligence in meeting the Union’s demand.
The new development was disclosed by the ASUU’s president, Mr. Professor Biodun Ogunyemi, who stated that the strike has been called off and lectures are to continue.
