2 Residents Killed As Gunmen Attempt To Abduct Lawmaker In Akwa-Ibom

During a traditional wedding at Akwa Ibom, gunmen reportedly killed two people in the process of kidnapping a member of the state house assembly, Mr. Usoro Akpanusoh.

While revealing what happened, Akpanusoh said;

“I went for traditional marriage in Uquo in Esit Eket with the family of the deputy political leader of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in my ward,”

“After staying for about 40 minutes, I bade the couple goodbye and approached my car.”

He went further to explain that he was able to escape after struggling with one of the gunmen.
